DVA at Studio Podiatry.

We are committed to providing exceptional care and support to DVA patients, honouring their service and dedication with the highest standards of podiatric care.

We offer bulk-billed podiatry services to eligible white and gold DVA card holders.

All Studio Podiatry locations accept Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) patients with a valid D904 referral from your General Practitioner (GP).

The D904 referral grants you access to either 12 months of Podiatry care or up to 12 Podiatry appointments, whichever occurs first. If you exhaust your 12 appointments within the 12-month timeframe, obtaining a new D904 referral from your GP is necessary to continue treatment.

Additionally, there is no restriction on the number of referrals your GP can provide, and we will promptly inform you when a new referral is required.

Here's how our podiatrists can support DVA patients:

  • Our podiatrists conduct thorough assessments to identify any foot-related issues or concerns specific to DVA patients, including those related to age, mobility limitations, or service-related injuries.

  • We develop personalised treatment plans tailored to address the unique foot health needs and goals of DVA patients. Whether it's managing chronic conditions, addressing acute injuries, or providing preventive care, our podiatrists ensure that each patient receives the appropriate level of care and attention.

  • We prescribe and fit custom in-house 3D printed orthotic devices, braces, and footwear to address biomechanical issues, alleviate pain, and enhance mobility for DVA patients. Our podiatrists ensure that assistive devices are properly fitted and adjusted to meet the individual needs and preferences of each patient.

  • We specialise in diabetic foot care, offering proactive management strategies to prevent complications such as ulcers, infections, and neuropathy. Our podiatrists provide regular foot screenings, education on foot self-care, and custom orthotic devices to support optimal foot health for DVA patients with diabetes.

  • Offer specialised skin and nail care services for DVA patients, addressing conditions such as fungal infections, wounds, and ingrown toenails through personalised treatment plans and comprehensive management strategies.

  • Medical-grade footwear for DVA patients is specifically designed to provide superior comfort, support, and protection for those with foot conditions. These shoes are often prescribed to veterans to alleviate pain, prevent injuries, and improve mobility. Featuring features such as extra depth, cushioned soles, and adjustable fastenings, medical-grade footwear helps reduce the risk of complications like pressure sores and ulcers, ensuring long-term foot health for veterans.

  • At Studio Podiatry, we provide effective wart treatments for DVA patients, using the latest techniques to remove warts and promote healthy skin. Our experienced podiatrists offer personalised care to veterans, ensuring safe and comfortable treatment options tailored to individual needs.

  • We offer comprehensive bunion care for DVA patients, focusing on reducing pain and improving foot function. Our experienced podiatrists provide tailored treatment plans including options like orthotics and footwear advice.

  • At Studio Podiatry, we provide expert heel pain treatment for DVA patients, helping veterans find relief from discomfort caused by conditions like plantar fasciitis. Our podiatrists create personalised treatment plans, including orthotics, stretching exercises, and tailored footwear advice.

  • Studio Podiatry offers personalised arthritis treatment for DVA patients, focusing on pain relief and improved foot and ankle mobility. Our podiatrists develop management plans that may include custom orthotics, footwear modifications, and therapeutic exercises.
